Health Benefits of Cucumber Water

If you are like me, plain water gets old and all the pop and soda is not really that good for you so finding another option was necessary. I love Cucumber Water, it’s so refreshing and there are actually several benefits too.

To make this drink you simply need a cucumber to slice up and add to a pitcher of water. Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight for best flavor!

It’s good for your muscles and joints!

Cucumbers contain silica which is know to strengthen connective tissue.  Be sure to add cucumbers to your water bottle when you go to the gym to work out!

Acts as a Diuretic!

Cucumbers are full of water and encourages elimination of wastes.  Plus, cucumbers help dissolve kidney stones.

Help’s Your Skin Look Fabulous!

We have all heard of cucumbers being used in facial masks and eye treatments, so it’s no surprise that Cucumber Water would help with skin care!

Keeps You Hydrated!

If you have a problem getting your water intake each day because you grow tired of plain water, drinking cucumber water can help you get more water into your diet.

It’s Low Calorie!

Cucumbers are low in calories so adding a few slices to your water is a very low calorie drink.

We can all slice cucumbers and throw them in a pitcher of water!  It really doesn’t get much easier than that!  Plus, cucumbers are fairly inexpensive to buy so this is a really cheap drink!
