Healthier Halloween Treat Idea + FREE Halloween Printable

October 20, 2014   |   17 Comments

I’m proud to partner with CVS/pharmacy for the Gold Emblem Abound October “#Snackurday” campaign. I am being sponsored to help lead this campaign, but all opinions expressed are my own, and all product claims or program details shared should be verified at CVS.com or with the appropriate manufacturers.

Every kid loves Halloween but finding snacks and treat ideas that aren’t just junk food isn’t always easy.  I’m sure you’re like me and after a while all the chocolate and sugar seems like over kill, wishing there were better options that wouldn’t give them 16 cavities plus keep them up all night on a sugar high!

I was excited to find a new Gold Emblem Abound line at CVS that was full of healthier snack and treat options that my kids loved.  There was everything from snack bars to popcorn.  I started thinking that these would be a great snack option for my son’s Halloween School Party, if I just prettied them up a little bit for the Holiday.  We came up with a FREE HALLWEEN PRINTABLE for you to download and use for all your Halloween treats and gifts!  Check it out below along with some great information about the new CVS line.

Aren’t these Halloween Printable tags adorable?  I LOVE the way they turned out and with 9 tags on a sheet, you won’t need to print out very many to have enough for the entire classroom!   You can print out this printable HERE.

If you’re looking for a great snack idea to hand out this Halloween, I highly suggest checking out the CVS where you can celebrate Snackurday with them and their awesome new Gold Emblem Abound snacks! They combine nutritious ingredients with great taste in every product – so you can have the best of both worlds in every bite!  Each one is free from Artificial Preservatives and flavors, and contains zero trans fat!

These were a couple of my kids favorite snacks, the Chocolate Chunk & Chia Snack Bars as well as the Mango & Strawberry Fruit & Veggie Snack Bars.  They work great as a quick on the go snack or even breakfast when we’re running late and they need a quick bite on the go.

Very nice idea to provide healthy alternatives. Most kids in our society, probably wouldn’t eat them…I’m afraid. I wish more families started their kiddos out on these type of habits. Great job.

Healthier treats are such a good idea! I think next year I’ll be doing them. My kids picked out a ton of stuff for school and now I’m kickin myself.

    Love printables especially halloween ones!

I am sure we will again be that house – you know the one that passes out healthy treats and nobody wants to visit because of it. I will print out a few of these for the kids we know to make their treat a little more special.
