Healthy Snacks on the Go, these are the things I pack when I’m traveling to avoid eating junk for days!
I don’t think it’s a secret that I travel, A LOT! In fact, I have two trips coming up in the next week that I need to get ready for. I love experiencing new places, foods and meeting new people. I’m extremely lucky to be able to do this as much as I do!
But let’s be honest, it’s difficult if not impossible to find food at the airport that is a healthy or more nutritious option. Am I right? Don’t get me wrong, I love a delicious burger slathered in everything I shouldn’t eat but it’s hard to eat like this for days or weeks at a time when you travel.
Finding Gluten Free options is even more difficult. What I’ve started to do is pack a variety of healthy/gluten free snack options that I can grab out of my carry on when I’m flying or pull out a stash from my suitcase in the hotel. It helps a TON!

I usually stop by CVS before a trip to grab those travel sized shampoo’s, face wash, contact solution, etc. You know the tiny ones that fit in a carry on perfectly and are pretty inexpensive? I know, the hotels have shampoo but we all know that it’s just not the same. For some reason, my hair ends up super frizzy and looks yuck for the trip. I have to take my own!

Here’s my tip, while you’re at CVS grab some snacks too! You are not going to believe how many healthy/gluten free options they have right there at the store! I love that I can just grab everything I need and be done in one stop.
Guess what else, there are CVS stores EVERYWHERE! So if I forget something or run out on my trip, I can likely find a CVS within a couple miles of where I am.
