Herbal Tea & Lavender Bath Bombs
- 1 cup citric acid
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup Epsom salts
- 3 herbal tea bags
- 1 T. coconut oil, melted
- 10 drops lavender essential oil
- water in a spray bottle
- Silicone mold or cupcake liner
For my tea I chose a favorite right out of my pantry, you can choose any bag or loose tea that you enjoy to create your herbal bath bombs. For me, its Tazo Passion Tea that contains hibiscus, rose hips, orange peel, cinnamon, and lemongrass-making for a great light scent!
Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl and stir well.
Add coconut oil and lavender essential oil, mix with your hands a bit.
Begin adding water a few sprays at a time and mix with your hands while you do, continue adding water slowly just until you can squeeze the mixture and it holds its shape. Do not soak mixture.
Press into your molds or cupcake liners in a tin, you can use the back of a spoon to make sure it’s tightly packed.
Let your bath bombs harden for 3-4 hours at least until solid then gently remove from mold.
Store in a container with a lid, a wide mouth mason jar fits this size perfectly and they stack very well!
