How to Welcome a New Neighbor!

July 16, 2012   |   17 Comments

I was so excited to have new neighbors move in across the street!  I wanted to be welcoming to the neighborhood and get them my contact number in case they were ever in need of anything.  So, I looked online and tried to decide what an appropriate little welcoming gift would be.
I found a couple different ideas that I liked, so I combined them and created this!

I love this little printable!  I found it over HERE and then I just added my contact information on the back!
Here is what we included:
Mrs. Meyer’s Hand Soap
Sponge
Dish Rags

I usually print a map of the neighborhood with people’s names on the houses. I also put neighborhood hints like when our neighborhood parties are, who has the best house for Halloween, etc. I also leave my # in case they have questions :). Our new neighbors have LOVED it!

lovely gift! What you included is perfect! Many times people make food, but I know I would be hesitant about eating something from someone I didn't know. This gift is a way to communicate your welcome without making someone feel awkward. Love it!
