Kitchen Redo Ideas with Sauder

August 4, 2014   |   Leave a Comment

I’ve been wanting to do a quick kitchen redo or makeover for some time now. I like changing things around, bringing in new pieces and colors without spending a lot of money but I knew adding in a table may blow my budget for the project, until I started to look on Sauder.com.

I was shopping online for a table and Sauder made it so easy to search through the different rooms that I was looking for a product. They have things sorted by product type, by space, by collection and by style lab with great ideas for your style of home I was able to quickly find a table that I loved and that fit my budget.

We ended up deciding on a Counter Type Height Table that we could use in our kitchen and possibly in a couple other areas down the road like our basement as a game table or in our cabin at the lake.

I have to admit that I was a bit worried with what to expect when I received the package from the UPS man. I wondered if it would be easy to assemble and if it would have dings or scratches but honestly it was in perfect shape because of how well it was packaged.

My hubby went right to work putting together this fabulous table, we were both amazed at how simple it was. I could have done it myself and that’s a pretty big deal! He had the table assembled and up within 20 minutes. It came with the tools we needed and the instructions were simple to follow.

As soon as it was up and finished, I went to town decorating and making the kitchen look adorable and of course I wanted to keep shopping and updating everything then. It really inspired me to start looking for new plates, glasses, table linens and so much more. Baby steps though.

I pulled together a few more ideas I’d like to do in the kitchen that includes purchasing the matching chairs for the table, a new light fixture over the table, plates, table runner and even some wine glasses.

I am loving how one simple piece of furniture really makes a complete change of a room plus it’s so versatile that I can use it in other places and it works fabulously!

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Sauder. The opinions and text are all mine.
