Lemon DIY Lip Scrub is the perfect spring scented lip scrub to make! I loved my Peppermint Lip Scrub so much that I’ve decided to make several different versions of it to use all year long!
I love using this lip scrub in the winter months, my lips get so dried and chapped. It really helps to get all that dead skin off them so they feel smooth and moist again!
If you’ve never tried making your own lip scrub, it’s beyond easy! There are only a couple things you need to have to make it too. If you’re like me and love your essential oils, you can use them to make all sorts of different scents for the time of your or your preferences.
How to Make Lemon DIY Lip Scrub
What You Need
1/4 Cup Sugar – Brown or White will work! Just no Powdered Sugar.
1 Tablespoon Honey
2 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
6-8 Drops Lemon Essential Oil
Instructions
Mix all of the ingredients together and store in a small airtight jar or these cute little lip scrub containers! If you don’t have these little containers, I have used a small mason jar in the past and it works great!
When you use, apply in a circular motion on the lips to remove dead skin. Rinse with warm water and a washcloth. Apply your lip balm after scrubbing.
This recipe makes about 6 small containers of the lip scrub. I was able to give them to my kids and still have a few left over. I use quite a bit when I scrub my lips so a container will last me about a week of scrubbing them every night when I bathe.
