Ingredients
- 2 – Lemons
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
- Extra Sugar
- Crisp Zester

- Directions
- Step 1 – Using the Crisp Zester, carefully peel strips off of the lemon
- Step 2 – Place the lemon zest in a sauce pan and cover with water, bring to a boil for 30 seconds
- Step 3 – Strain the lemon zest with cold water and repeat the boiling process two more times
- Step 4 – Place the sugar and water in the sauce pan and mix the sugar until it dissolves
- Step 5 – Turn the heat to low and add the lemon zest, cook for an hour
- Step 6 – Strain the zest and save the lemon simple syrup to use in the Lemon Drop Margarita
- Step 7 – Toss the lemon zest in a bowl of sugar! Enjoy!
