Lemon Drop Margarita with Candy Lemon Peel



  • 2 – Lemons
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • Extra Sugar
  • Crisp Zester


  1. Directions
  2. Step 1 – Using the Crisp Zester, carefully peel strips off of the lemon
  3. Step 2 – Place the lemon zest in a sauce pan and cover with water, bring to a boil for 30 seconds
  4. Step 3 – Strain the lemon zest with cold water and repeat the boiling process two more times
  5. Step 4 – Place the sugar and water in the sauce pan and mix the sugar until it dissolves
  6. Step 5 – Turn the heat to low and add the lemon zest, cook for an hour
  7. Step 6 – Strain the zest and save the lemon simple syrup to use in the Lemon Drop Margarita
  8. Step 7 – Toss the lemon zest in a bowl of sugar! Enjoy!
