Lemon Pound Cake with Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 Cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 1 1/2 Cups Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon Rodelle Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice

  2. Step 1 – Preheat the oven to 375 Degrees and grease a loaf pan
  3. Step 2 – Cream the butter, sugar and cheese together in a stand mixer
  4. Step 4 – Add the eggs one at a time
  5. Step 5 – Add the Vanilla and Lemon juice
  6. Step 6 – Mix in the Flour, baking powder and salt last
  7. Step 7 – Pour into the loaf pan and back for an hour (the first time I made this I used a glass pan and it took closer to an hour and 15 minutes)
  8. Top with Strawberry Sauce and enjoy!
