Do you remember your prom? What do you remember the most? Most girls spend so much time finding that perfect dress and can remember it to this day. I went to two proms and both with my hubby, we were high school sweet hearts. I actually had one of my dresses custom made, I just couldn’t find exactly the dress that I wanted at any stores. After spending the day at the Macy’s Prom 2013 fashion show, I found myself wishing that they had been available to me as a teenage girl searching for my perfect dress. They had so many options!
Here are a few from the fashion show!
After the show I had a change to talk with Mandi Line, the costume designer for Pretty Little Liars, she is such a nice person. I was so impressed by the way she made each girl at the event and shopping in the store feel important and beautiful. People like that are amazing and she was a treat to meet.
Macy’s also provided a lot of fun extras in the store that day. They had someone on hand from Jon English Hairspa providing fun hair styles for guests. I didn’t have mine styled but another blogger Kelly, from Muddy Flowers, looked fabulous after her style.
There was also a Lip Bar and Smokey Eyes Bar, where you could learn and have your make up applied. They had some great tips for girls going to prom.
I caught up with a couple of the models walking around the store and just had to take photos of not only their dresses but their fabulous shoes too!
Macy’s showed us some great Prom dresses, hair and beauty tips. If you would like to see if there is an event happening near you, please go to Macy’s website.
