Meatball and Provolone Sub Sandwich Recipe

March 31, 2013   |   10 Comments

Easy Slow Cooker Meatball Sub Recipe

Are you looking for a new quick and easy recipe to make on a busy weeknight?  We had Meatball and Provolone Sub sandwiches the other night that were delicious.  What was even better about this recipe was that I just put the meatballs in the slow cooker and let them cook on low for a few hours.  I love slow cooker recipes, so this is getting added to our monthly rotation.

We love sub sandwiches but wanted to change up the normal ham and cheese to something new to try.  I made a bunch of meatballs and used half of them for our Spaghetti and Meatballs one night, then saved the rest to make these Meatball and Provolone sub sandwiches.  I love recipes like these, making one batch of sauce or meatballs that work in multiple meals.  It really cuts time out of supper making a few nights a week. I hope this recipe and idea will help you out too!

My guys loved these sandwiches and they were so easy to make.  These would make an easy and delicious meal to make for guests too.  If you don’t want to make your own meatballs, you could easily substitute for a bag of store bought meatballs too.
