One of my besties makes these delicious little treats at Christmas. I was looking for a little birthday gift for my father in law, and decided to give them a shot. They were so easy and super cute!!
You will need to freeze these after they are made until you gift them. I included a note that said the directions for baking. You place the jars on a cookie sheet and place them in a cold oven then turn the oven on to 375 and bake for 30 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
- 2 1/2 lb. baking apples, peeled, cored, quartered and cut lengthwise into slices 1/2 inch thick
- 1/2 cup sugar, plus more as needed
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
- ½ cup maple syrup
what a beautiful idea. that are looking so yummy and nice packaged.

What a cute idea! And so simple! I love how they look 🙂
What a great idea. I love apple pie and usually eat almost the whole pie by myself. I love the built in portion control, bake some and freeze the others for later.
These are super cute and I love your packaging! And of course I now have a craving for pie! Thanks so much for linking up to The Creative Spark. I'll be featuring these on my Facebook page. Have a great weekend!
