Monday Menu Plan

January 7, 2013   |   3 Comments

Hi, everyone!

Welcome to one of the new weekly posts here at The Taylor House.

During the holidays, I got out of the habit of menu planning.  For those of you who create a weekly menu, you know that it is an easy way to plan your meals and create your shopping list.

There are so many days when I have NOT made a weekly menu that I stand at the fridge wondering what I am going to make that I can pull together quickly.  Having already created a menu each week really cuts back on the stress that can be involved with meal time.

Each week I will be posting my Monday Menu Plan and sharing recipes that I have found to try or regular recipes that my family loves.

I would love to have you share yours as well in the comments below!  If you have a Menu Plan post or a recipe that you would like to share, I will be looking for new ideas as well as creating a Pinterest Board and pinning recipes to try!  I hope that you will join in!

My Weekly Menu

Monday:  Crockpot spaghetti

Tuesday:  Bubble Pizza

Wednesday:  Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken

Thursday:  Pasta Soup & Dutch Oven Bread

Friday:  Homemade Pizza

Saturday:  Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese

Sunday:  Slow Cooker Roast

Sharing is caring!

Perfect timing! I just re-committed to eating healthy and so I’m back to consciously planning my meals. For this week:
Monday – Spicy Garlic Chicken, Asparagus & Rice
Tuesday – Skinnytaste Tuna Noodle Casserole (better than your mom used to make!)
Wednesday – Ziti with Homemade Spicy Marinara and Green Salad
Thursday – Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup (I have the day off so I can cook!)
Friday – Probably order Thai food? (The healthy delivery option!)

I usually make a meal plan but have been slack since the holidays. I’m excited for your new series and can’t wait to get some new ideas.
