Must Have Farmhouse Decor

March 27, 2017   |   1 Comment

Who else is on a HUGE Farmhouse decorating kick? We built our entire new house around my love of white AND everything vintage and farmhouse feeling. Make sure you scroll to the bottom of the post for a full list of products that we used to decorate our living room, there are links that will take you straight to the decor if you want to add it to your home too!

A couple months ago I shared a post with my living room decor that I got from Wayfair but today I wanted to show you a few more things that we added, including some Barn Doors that my hubby made!!

My friends and I are obsessed with Fixer Upper and the Farmhouse style decor, we even visited Waco a couple weeks ago and got a TON of decorating inspiration while we were there.

What I found, though, I was able to order most of the things I loved from Wayfair. I didn’t have to worry about shipping things home and most of the time the prices were much more reasonable or exactly the same!

We have a TON of white in our house. The walls are very light gray to the point that most people think they’re white. I’ve done this on purpose so that I can bring in colors with my furniture, curtains, pillows etc.

I’ve also used some woods in places like the barn doors, blanket box, coffee tables, etc. It brings texture into the room and still lets me keep more things white and clean.

I wanted to talk a little bit about these barn doors. Aren’t they gorgeous? My husband made them!

I hate having a TV over the fireplace, so we negotiated and made these custom doors that can slide and close off the tv when I have company that I don’t want to have to watch a show. It’s the best of both worlds for our family!

We have a video coming out soon that will walk you through the process of making these doors yourself, exactly what supplies you need and how to install them!

I was able to order the barn door hardware through Wayfair and have it sent right to my house!

Below is a list of my favorite products that I used decorating our living room. 90% of the decor came from Wayfair! I love this because I’m able to shop online and have the decor that I want show up at my door. I don’t have to go shopping at 15 different stores to find everything. It’s a huge time saver for us too!

Our Favorite Products

Barn Door Hardware

White Lamps (these are very similar)

Wood Crate (similar)

Dark Grey Living Room Set

Baxton Studio 3 Piece Coffee Table Set

Grey Throw Pillows

Dark Grey Curtains

Square Single Curtain Rod & Hardware Set

Green Potted Plants

Farmhouse White Bowl

Galvanized Storage Boxes

Shag White Rug

Disclosure: I’m thrilled to have partnered with Wayfair on this post but all opinions are 100% mine.

Sharing is caring!
