No Bake Strawberry Cheesecake

December 24, 2015   |   1 Comment

No Bake Strawberry Cheesecake

This summer I shared a delicious No Bake Strawberry Dessert over at Somewhat Simple and I thought I’d post it for you guys too since Christmas is right around the corner and some of you may be looking for some easy to make dessert options other than Pumpkin Pie.  I know there are actually people out there, like my hubby, who does not like Pumpkin so we always like to have a different option for him at dessert time.

Check out how easy this is to make!

How to make No Bake Strawberry Cheesecake

Ingredients You Need

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip
  • 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Sleeve of Graham Crackers
  • 1/2 Cup Melted Butter
  • Strawberry Pie Filling

 Instructions

Step 1 – Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, mix together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until it’s smooth

Step 2 – Fold in the Cool Whip

Step 3 – Crush the graham crackers and mix it with the melted butter to create a crust

Step 4 – I used small mason jars and split the crust mixture between four jars.  Press the crust mixture into the bottom of the jar

Step 5 – Top the crust with the Cream Cheese and Cool Whip mixture

Step 6 – Add the Strawberry Pie filling to the top.  Refrigerate for 30 minutes and enjoy!

No Bake Strawberry Cheesecake

If you don’t have Mason jars, you can use a regular pie plate to make this in.  I like the idea of individual desserts for the family after supper, so I’m always making mini desserts.  You can use different pie fillings as well for this recipe if you’re not a strawberry lover OR you could even mix in your favorite candy bar and top with chocolate and caramel drizzle.  Yum!

This no bake cheesecake is a great base recipe to use several different ways!  What do you think?  What’s your favorite topping?
