Organizing your spices is one of those jobs that always seems to get overlooked. There have been times when my spices are so out of date mess in the cabinet that I couldn’t find anything if I need to.
Trying to find the best and easiest way to organize them was a challenge. I had seen some really cool organization ideas using simple mason jars and labels on the top of the jars but had never gotten around to doing this with my own spices.
Then I found an awesome new product and thought of a great way to use it to help me with my problem!
Duck Brand®, would like to introduce you to Deco Laminate. Duck Brand® Deco Laminate is available in 20”x10” rolls and comes in 5 exciting prints: zebra, giraffe, multicolor polka dots, blue chevron and wallflower. Not to mention the dry erase, chalkboard and holographic designs as well! Duck Brand® Deco Laminate is perfect for personalizing everyday items, crafting, scrap-booking or covering/decorating smaller resurfacing projects.
There are so many different craft projects and uses for the Duck Brand® Deco Laminate. If you own a Cricut™machine, it is even compatible with that!
I used the Chalkboard roll of laminate to make my own spice jar labels. They were simple to make and made my spice jars look adorable while getting them organized!
How to Make Spice Jar Labels
Materials
Duck Brand® Deco Laminate: Chalkboard
Mason Jars
2 inch punch
Instructions
This project is so simple! All you need to do is punch several circle shapes out of the laminate paper.
Peal the back of the paper off so that you can stick the chalkboard piece to the jar.
That’s it! Now, just write the spice name on the chalkboard label. If you decide to change it, simple erase and rewrite.
I love how easy the Duck Brand® Deco Laminate is to use. There wasn’t a lot of prep for this project, I could just cut out what I needed and go. That made this simple and done in a hurry!
