Organize those bathroom drawers!

September 27, 2011   |   3 Comments

Over the weekend we had tickets to a Vikings game, but my little guy came down with the flu. So, sadly, I sent my hubby and the big one off to the game without us.
I spent the majority of Sunday snuggling with a sick and rather crabby little boy and really accomplishing next to nothing. One would think this would be the time to catch up on some tv or reading, BUT while my baby was taking a bath four different times during the morning (oh, yes, he gets this from his Mom ;)), I decided it was a PERFECT time to organize my bathroom drawers.
My drawers are what you would call “semi-organized”, I could shut them and that’s about it. 🙂 So, I am going to show before and after pictures. I know, this is kind of scary!! Please, don’t judge me.
Before

So, in the top drawer, like items were kinda together.
After!! I just used the plastic drawer organizers that I have a ton of in the kitchen.
Before.

After!! Yes, that is a Longaberger basket organizing my fancy eye creams. It seems appropriate to put them together because they both cost WAY too much and really don’t work any better than the cheap ones!! 😉

So, I had 9 more drawers along the lines of those two that had to be cleaned, throw lots away and organized. In my defense, I did just move in and wanted to get things put away quickly. But, now they are organized and good to go.

Here is the bathroom counter, I am really wanting to paint and redo the space. But, not sure what to do. Any ideas?

P.S. The hubby and big boy had an awesome time at the game!

Yes, exactly ; ) Also, your bathroom wall needs some color for sure, I will think on it. I need to get up there.
