Organize Your Life: Kids Art Supplies

April 5, 2013   |   2 Comments

Hey there everyone! I’m excited to share with you a cute little project from our play room.  Keeping the kids art supplies organized can be tough to stay on top of. So a system they can use and keep up with is a huge help.

Organize your Life: Kids Art Supplies

I picked up two paper organizers from Target. These are the kraft colored ones.  A couple coats of Martha Stewart’s metallic paint gave me the look I was going for. It didn’t list paper as something you could use it on, but I had no trouble.  I lined the insides with some fun paper and loaded them up!
To maximize our space I hung the organizers on the side of the supply dresser with picture hanging tabs. I used pretty big ones since they hold a lot of paper and the kids are going to be using them. They are great but not always the most gentle. I didn’t want them falling down when they use them.  Works perfect!
Pop on over to Prairie Girl to Southern Belle to see how we organize the rest of the supplies for the kiddos.  We’re working on the playroom and it’s starting to come together!

Hi! I’m Jessica from Prairie Girl to Southern Belle. I’m a busy wife and a mom to two great kiddos, and I love sharing how we’re working to make our house a home one idea at a time. When I’m not working on a project, you can find me playing with the kids, out on a date with my hubby or making something fun in the kitchen. I love making new friends so grab a cup of coffee and come on by for a visit!

I could definitely use this tip, but rather than for my kid’s paper, for my own scrapbooking papers. Thanks so much for sharing. Can’t wait to check out more of your blog!
