Teacher Appreciation Gift Idea: Pedicure Kit

April 18, 2012   |   28 Comments

Teacher Appreciation week is the first full week of May and I have started to work
on teacher appreciation gift for my boys teachers.
Sometimes finding the right gift for a teacher can be a little bit of a challenge.
Cost is always a factor. As much as I would love to be able to spend a ton and show the teacher how much we appreciate them with a nice expensive gift, it isn’t always practical.
Especially if you have more than one child and are buying for multiple teachers.
My kindergartner has a female teacher {and she is fabulous!} so I tried to think of something that I would enjoy. We put together an inexpensive Pedicure kit complete with everything she needs to pamper herself.

Here is what we included in our Pedicure Gift.  You can easily change this up and use other items and products.
  • Nail Polish {Target, was around $6 but there is much cheaper brands}
  • Nail Polish Remover {Target with a coupon .47}
  • Cotton Pads for Removal {Target .85}
  • Nail File {Target .97}
  • Fun Nail Clippers {Dollar Tree 1.00}
  • Pedicure Kit {Michael’s 1.00}
  • Box to put it in {Target 1.00}
  • {I included a gift certificate to a local Pedicure shop as well}
You could easily put this teacher appreciation gift together for less than $10 depending on what you include in the basket.

 We made a cute little tag in Excel, the picture we found online.

This was a really fun and easy teacher appreciation gift to put together.  It is something that I would love to recieve myself and I hope that his teacher will enjoy it too.
It certainly isn’t a huge gift but it is just a little something to show her just how much we appreciate all she does for my son!

    I teach 5th and 6th grade, and I can tell you that I would Love to get a gift like this. I love that this gift is appreciative of the teacher, but isn't “teacher-y.” I think sometimes people forget that teachers are WOMEN too.

    I really like this idea and think most teachers (or moms for mother's day!) would be delighted to receive it. I am working on teacher appreciation ideas this week too. May will be here before we know it!

    Such a unique and fun gift!!! Thanks for sharing. My son has had male teachers the last 2 years – a little tougher to buy for.
