Quick Meals for Mom from Barilla & Giveaway

August 31, 2012   |   10 Comments

Lunch time already?
Barilla pasta bowls, quick and easy lunch, lunch on the go
This is how I usually feel at about noon every day.  The mornings are full of getting the kids ready and out the door to school, cleaning, errands, phone calls, answering emails etc.  So, I grab a banana or maybe a sandwich on a good day but I rarely feel like I take the time to sit down and have a good or healthy meal at lunch.

I was excited to try out the new Barilla microwaveable pasta bowls!

What makes these so appealing to me??

They are done in 60 seconds!!
Just open the side slightly to vent.

Then just put in the microwave for 60 seconds!
It comes out like this!  You can easily eat it from the dish that it comes in, making clean up a snap!

Just pour the sauce over the noodles and you are set!

Here is another great reason why I loved these meals, you can not only eat them on quickly but adding a little Parmesan on top with a side salad and you have a meal that is even good enough for guests!

Doesn’t this look delicious!

I typically have leftovers. The rest of the family will eat them, but aren't wild about them, so it is a good way to ensure no food is wasted. I don't feel deprived, because I actually think lots of foods taste even better the next day!

These look so easy! I could easily eat these while I surf Pinterest on my lunch. I forget about lunch a lot because time gets away from me. 🙂
