Saturday Morning Fun with Superhero Crafts

October 25, 2013   |   1 Comment

Are Saturday mornings a time that your kids look forward to watching cartoons and playing without having to worry about getting ready for school and rushing out the door?  I know my boys do!  They were excited when we received a superhero-themed Vortexx box where they could create some fun crafts while they were watching some awesome shows!

Vortexx, Superhero crafts

Vortexx on CW airs every Satruday morning form 7 to Noon and the current programs include

  • The Adventures of Chuck and Friends
  • Rescue Heroes
  • Sonic X
  • Bolts & Blip
  • The Spectacular Spider-Man
  • Justice League Unlimited
  • Dragon Ball Z Kai
  • B-Daman Crossfire
  • Yu-Gi-Oh!
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal

Fans of Vortexx on CW don’t have to wait for Saturday mornings to unleash the fun of Vortexx.  MyVortexx.com keeps kids entertained 24/7/365 with fun activities, games and full episodes.

We had a fun time together making superhero crafts and playing superhero games!  My boys made some really cute masks and arm cuffs and then battled each other with their powers!

They loved that they could cut out their masks and decorate them any way that you want.  Both of my boys colored their masks red, that must be a superhero color!

Arm cuffs are a necessity for Superhero’s!  The buttons all have different powers that the superhero can use!

All of these crafts use simple materials that you have on hand, the arm cuffs are made from Paper towel rolls once they are empty and the masks were just cut out of paper and tied with yarn.  My kids could do all of these on their own!

My boys had so much fun making these fun crafts!  I think having a weekly craft day is something we need to do all the time!

Be sure to check out the MyVortexx website for games and shows during the week or connect with them on Facebook or Twitter.
