My little guy has an August birthday, which means he doesn't get to celebrate it at school on or near his actual birthday. So, it is common for summer birthday kids to celebrate their ½ birthday, which is great because they don't feel left out. If you asked my son, he would tell you that ½ birthdays are just as important as the real day and that there should be gifts and cake. Well, that's not happening in this house, but we did do a cute little treat for all his classmates at school. I was able to create my first little Publisher creation, with a little positive reinforcement from a friend (Thanks, Jenn). It's not fancy or the prettiest thing ever, but it did make me see that I can use that program and with some work and practice, maybe use it again. Haha! So, we just added these little guys to a Hershey's bar and then just tied on different colors of Bakers Twine.
What a cute little stinker, but would it kill him to give me a "real" smile when I ask him too?
Have a great night! Don't forget to follow with the new Linky Followers on the right side! 🙂
