Have you ever tried a Seasonal Support Candle? We’re back at it, creating fun and useful posts using our Essential Oils. Our Soothing Vapor Bath might be something you want to try making too! Both of these are great for stuffy noses and congestions.
How to Make a Seasonal Support Candle (stuffy nose relief)
What You Need
- Candle wax flakes, you will need enough flakes to fill your mug up TWICE.
- Candle wicks
- Lavender Essential Oil
- Lemon Essential Oil
- Peppermint Essential Oil
- Pencils or Straw
- Candle Jar
Wrap the end of your candle wick around your straw and place in the mug (see photo).
Place the Candle wax in a glass bowl and melt on high in the microwave until it’s a liquid consistency. Pour into the candle jar and let harden. This takes about two hours. Enjoy burning your candle!
Pour into the candle jar, mason jar or whatever you would like to use to create a candle and let harden. This takes about two hours. Enjoy burning your candle!
When our seasonal congestion starts up, I like to burn these candles. They help with the itchy eyes, nose and stuffy heads that seem to drive us all crazy!
Even if you don’t have any of these issues, this is a great scent combination that’s light and gives your home a nice clean and simple scent! My three favorite oils to diffuse are peppermint, lemon and lavender as well as Thieves regularly when we’re trying to keep from getting sick!
