About a week ago I had an amazing experience with some fabulous people. I had the privileged of spending 24 hours with some amazing bloggers, the LG team (love these people) and Nate Berkus. Yep, you read that right – I got to go SHOPPING with Nate Berkus. This is by far, not a normal week for me. I mean, who goes antiquing with Nate just for fun? Well, I was lucky enough to be able to tag along for this adventure and I just had to share some of the details and the experience!
First off, let me tell you that I never get tired of meeting new bloggers. It’s amazing to just feel that connection that we have, it doesn’t matter if I’m a food blogger and they’re a fashion blogger, we still have a lot in common. And, the ladies that I met on this trip are the absolute sweetest people ever. It was so much fun!
You know you about to have a fabulous day when you check into your hotel room and find a note waiting for you from Nate Berkus. Seriously, guys – pinch me! This is too much!
We spend several hours shopping in the Dallas Design District in some amazing antique stores. I’m not a designer and I certainly don’t play one on the internet so this was a little bit scary for me. I mean, I live in small town Iowa and my style is more farmhouse, so I didn’t have that design eye that the other ladies have. What I noticed and loved was NOT the same as everyone else. But, that’s my style!
After visiting several stores, enjoying lunch and a little down time at the hotel, we headed over to Nebraska Furniture Mart for the launching of LG’s new line that was designed by Nate Berkus! You guys know that I love my amazing LG Door – in – Door Refrigerator and this amazing LG Studio Collection is gorgeous. I’m actually in the process of building a new house and these pretties are on my list of things to buy for it!
Who would have ever thought that LG could make an awesome product even more amazing, but they did! I love all the details that were put into these by working with Nate. The touches that he added to the line really stand out.

LG invited me to Dallas to learn more about the Nate Berkus Collaboration. All opinions are my own.
