Slow Cooker Creamed Corn
Way back at the beginning of October I had this great idea for an eBook that has sadly not materialized yet. Between press trips, vacation and just the daily blog posts it looks unlikely to be finished anytime soon. This recipe was one that I was going to put in the book but decided instead of waiting to share it with you, I'd bring it out now.
This Slow Cooker Creamed Corn was delicious and I am definitely making for Thanksgiving Dinner this year! I love anything that can be made in the slow cooker and these flavor combinations were just perfect!
Check out the recipe!

Step 3 - Stir together and top with fresh chives before serving. Enjoy!
This Slow Cooker Creamed Corn was so easy to make and you can modify it to your tastes too, if you want a little heat in the corn simply add some different spices of even a diced up jalapeno pepper. There are so many different ways this dish can be modified for your personal preferences.
I love recipes that I can make in the slow cooker at the Holidays, anything that keeps me out of the kitchen and spending more time with my friends and family is a MUST make for me.
What types of recipes will you be making this year? I would LOVE to hear any new slow cooker ideas that you may have!

Stopping by from Teach Me Tues Linky Party. I LOVE this recipe and it is something I've never tried before - so it must be on my list to try asap. Thanks for another original idea. Carrie, A Mother's Shadow
