Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, less than a month out now, and all I’m seeing is hearts, arrows, chocolate and strawberry everything. I decided to jump on board and make a yummy Valentine Strawberry Ice Cream Float. I’m a pretty big fan of Root Beer Floats, is we stop at an Ice cream shop that’s what I would pick. I like the combination of ice cream and pop together. I thought making a Strawberry Float would be a festive Valentine treat for myself and the kids.
Making these are simple and only require two ingredients, I bet you can guess what they are! There are several different ways you could make these amazing treats so lets get started explaining it!
How to Make Strawberry Ice Cream Floats
Ingredients
Vanilla Ice Cream
Strawberry Pop
Strawberries (optional)
Whip Cream (Optional)
Instructions
Step 1 – Put three large scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream in your cup or mug
Step 2 – Pour Strawberry Pop over the Ice Cream until the cup is completely filled
Step 3 – Add Whip cream, strawberry and straw. Enjoy!
If you’re planning a Valentine Party in your kids classroom, this would be a fun idea. You could use strawberry ice cream with a lemon lime soda if you can’t find the strawberry, I was surprised how difficult this was to find.
You could even add some Valentine Conversation hearts in the float to make it even more fun and festive during the holiday. Or if you’re making this for a birthday party or just for fun, use a different flavored pop, maybe orange or even raspberry would be delicious!
What type of recipes are you making this Valentine season? Do you have a special candy you make or maybe a dessert? I’d love to hear!
