Summer Activities for Kids Series: Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt

June 3, 2013   |   2 Comments

Hi, everyone!  We have a great Summer Activities for Kids series that we are starting today.  For two weeks, we will be sharing a daily post with an idea of a summer activity, summer crafts for kids or maybe even some summer snacks.

We are also running a two week long Linky Party where you can share your Summer Activities too!  At the bottom of this post, be sure to link up!  I have a Pinterest Summer Board where I am sharing all these activities and some of the party link ups too so be sure to stop by and find some great ideas!

Our first Summer Activity is a Printable Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt for kids.  My boys love scavenger and treasure hunts, so this is a great activity for them.  I created a printable version for you and suggest laminating it.  That way you can use it over and over again by using a dry erase marker and simply wiping it down when you are finished.  You can print your own copy of the Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt.

I have a fun Nature Scavenger Hunt for Kids that I created last year.  This is a fun scavenger hunt idea that you can use any where this summer with your kids.

Creating summer crafts for kids, such as this neighborhood scavenger hunt is a great way to keep your kids active and having a blast during the summer months.  If they are anything like my boys, they start to need some help with finding things to do that do not revolve around the television and video games.  Having some fun ideas ready to go, will keep them busy and enjoying their summer break.

Do you have any summer activates for kids posts that you would like to share?  Link them up to the linky party below!  Just be sure that they relate in some way to our Summer Activities for Kids theme.
