Summer Bucket List from Serenity You

July 9, 2012   |   4 Comments

Today, Natasha, from Serenity You is sharing a really cute and fun Summer Bucket List idea!  Enjoy!
Summer Bucket List
First off I want to say a massive thank you to Chrissy for having me over today.

Hi, I’m Natasha and I blog over at Serenity You.
I am a married mum with 3 kids. Ryan 7, Caitlin 2 and a half and Aaron 18 months. I am a stay at home mum and also work part time from home, on my blog, eBay shopand other little bit’s and pieces.
On the 5th July 2012 was my very 1stblogaversary!!! I was so excited!! And to celebrate I am holding a big giveaway lasting 2 weeks, with loads of different prizes,  so make sure you come on over on the 5th-18thJuly and check it out.
Anyway, with the summer holidays only weeks away I’ve been thinking of the things me and the kids can do. And one of the things we always do is make a summer bucket list.
Last year when we made our summer bucket list all we did was write everything down on a piece of paper and tick them off when we did them. But this year I thought we’d put a bit more effort in making our list.
So we painted some clothes pegs in lovely summery colours.
At first we just held the pegs in our hands to paint them, but we were getting paint everywhere. So we use a plastic cup. We stuck a few pegs on at a time to even out the weight so it didn’t tip up. We painted the pegs then left them to dry on the cup (I’ll let you in on a secret – this was actually my son’s idea)
We wrote all the things on the list that we wanted to do in the summer holidays on the pegs then clipped then round the edge of the bucket. And when we have done something on our list, we simply place the peg in the bucket
Thanks again Chrissy for having me
