Summer Drink Recipe: Orange Smoothie

June 19, 2014   |   Leave a Comment

This delicious Orange Smoothie summer drink recipe is going to quickly be one of your kids favorites and probably your’s too! It’s a light and refreshing drink to cool you off during the hot summer months.  Plus, it’s so easy to make, using only a handful of ingredients.

My kids loved the Protein smoothie I made them a while back and have been asking me for different smoothie flavors, so we’ve been experimenting with combinations and ideas.  I hope you enjoy this one!

How to make Orange smoothie Summer Dink Recipe

Ingredients You Need

  • 2 Cups Orange Pineapple Juice
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1/3 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 Cups Ice Cubes

Instructions

Step 1 – Place all the ingredients except the ice cubes in a blender and pulse for a few seconds

Step 2 – Add the ice in last and blend well (adding the ice last will prevent it from getting stuck in the blades)

Step 3 – Pour the smoothie into cups and enjoy.

You can add fresh pineapple or oranges for garnish if you want to make it look pretty.
