I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for CWIST. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
Finding educational activities for my boys that also have opportunities to teach them about giving and helping others aren’t always easy to find and thinking outside the box is often required until I had the chance to try this new website, CWIST. I am in love with this program, there are so many cool features.
CWIST is the only digital platform to harness the creative power of both parents and educations to develop, test and share hundreds of challenges that educate the whole child.
When I logged on I immediately added my youngest son as one of my kids and got to work finding a project for him to do.
I found the “Teaching The True Meaning Of Christmas” and decided it was perfect timing for this project. This challenge had five different parts to it and his reward would be a yummy dessert that Mom makes for him.
He has to do things like ask adults questions and read the Polar Express book. He loved this, he felt like he was completing a challenge while he was learning about Christmas and helping others.
For the holidays, CWIST has launched their Kids CWIST For Kids program. This multi-week giving campaign gives children the opportunity to complete learning challenges to give gifts to kids in need.
This is a great time of year to sign up and get started with CWIST with your own kids! What project would you pick to have them start with? I’d love to hear! Be sure to check out the Featured CWISTs and Featured Wishes while you are there to see what everyone else is working on!
