Thanksgiving: What I am thankful for this year!

November 20, 2012   |   2 Comments

It seems like the last two months have lasted for ever!  Life can really throw you off course and sometimes you feel like you are completely out of control.  I have been sick, sicker and then sick again which made me extremely frustrated with myself and life in general.  It is easy to let your mind get into a downward spiral when  you keep feeling beaten down.  I am lucky to have such a support system that even when I was down, I had people who pushed me forward.  They kept faith that I could and would get better.  I needed that.
This Thanksgiving I have so much to be thankful for.
First, my husband.  He is a rock for me and really sacrificed so much these last two months to help get me better.  I could not have gotten better without him and his constant support.
Second, my boys.  They keep me smiling and helped out so much!
My Mom!  She made so many trips from Iowa to Minnesota to help care for me while my hubby was traveling.  She ended up dealing with some of the harder things and I owe her so much!
I have a couple friends that listened to me and talked to me for hours and hours.  You know who you are.  Thank you!
Sometimes God takes you through some tough stuff just to open your eyes to whats important in life.  The top of my list is family and friends.
How about you?  What are you thankful for this year?

Chrissy
