The Best way to Clean a Microwave

November 18, 2016   |   Leave a Comment

I have to admit, I get pretty embarrassed sometimes when I look in my microwave. I feel like I’m a pretty clean person, but for some reason the microwave just gets yucky. It’s likely due to the fact that my boys use it – a lot!  It’s certainly an area that needs to be cleaned more often than a lot of things.

Earlier in the week we shared a great tip with you on how to Remove Mildew Smell from Towels and today we have another great tip for getting your microwave sparkly clean! We actually have two tips – check them both out below!

The Best way to Clean Your Microwave

How to Clean a Microwave

1/2 Cup Vinegar

1 Lemon Sliced

In a small bowl place the sliced lemons and pour the vinegar over top.  Microwave on high for 3-4 Minutes.  Let the microwave cool slightly before removing the bowl and using a washcloth or sponge to wipe down the microwave.

The Best way to Clean Your Microwave

Another great way to clean your microwave is to use a Magic Eraser, soak it with water and place it in the microwave on high for 3 minutes.  Let the Magic Eraser cool before using it to wipe down everything.  This makes cleaning a breeze!
