Headphones

Headphones are essential to my flight no matter what distance because you probably don’t want to watch a show for everyone to listen to what your watching I mean you probably don’t want to listen to whatever the person next to you is watching either, it’s like common courtesy.

The Netflix App

If any of you people going on a trip need to catch up on your favorite tv shows well now you’ve got a chance. With the Netflix app you can download a few of episodes or movies onto your device and watch without the internet. I like to download a couple hours worth of shows so that I know I’ll have enough even if we’re delayed.

A Blanket/ Neck Pillow

Now, this may not apply to all but if you happen to find a small blanket that is very thin or like the size of a towel you might be in luck.  After minutes of sacrificed time folding to perfection, you have a blanket if your cold and if you luckily get a window you can roll it up into a nice pillow.

You may also run across a neck pillow you can grab to bring along which is an instant cha-ching in my opinion if you are going to lay your head back and sleep.

Snacks

A helpful hint you may not know is that you can take on the go snacks like chips and granola bars through security, but you can normally find concessions on the other side of security if your parents are willing to spend triple the normal amount you spend. So it is best to take a bag of snacks along.

Power Bank/ Car Chargers

So you probably found that after binge-watching Stranger Things like most people your phone has a half a percent left and your flight has a few hours left.  The solution is simple or maybe you’ll get lucky!  If you charged up a computer before the trip or a portable charger you just have to plugin and watch the season finale and play a game of Pacman before the end of the flight.

Now the reason I say lucky is because if you did not charge your computer or have a portable charger you might be lucky enough to find a car plug under your seat. Now this will trickle power into your device but probably won’t charge your phone but slow the loss of battery so you can spend some time here and there watching your shows while your device charges.

Blake’s EXTRA tips worth mentioning:

Medicine

This isn’t required for all but most people have motion sickness problems so you should bring along some items to help you sleep and help your motion sickness.

Delta Inflight App

This is the number one spot in my opinion but it didn’t get into the top five because it can only be used on Delta flights.  What this app does, it lets you watch free movies, use messenger, and track the flight all at the cost of a few megabytes.

There you have it, friend, if you like the tips and trips leave a comment and see you on another post, but as always have a wonderful rest of your day.  Peace out.
