Things to Have on Hand When Kids Get the Flu

June 19, 2015   |   Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Nauzene Kids for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Raise your hand if you enjoy being sick or having to care for your sick kids? Anyone? No, didn’t think so. The flu is the worst! Between the fevers, fluids, and round the clock medication to ensure everyone is feeling better can be draining. My heart breaks when my kids are sick, it’s always worse than when I am sick and their poor bodies have such a hard time fighting and recovering after a sickness.

Things to have on hand when kids get the flu

I always like to have a couple essential items on hand just in case we get the flu or sickness when we least expect it and can’t drive anywhere to get stuff we may need. I ALWAYS have on hand bottles of hand sanitizer, that is a must. As well as Kleenex, a “sick bucket”, chicken noodle soups, fever reducer, a favorite blanket or comfort toy, etc.

Recently though, I came across a new medication to help ease nausea which is a killer for us when we have the “stomach flu”. It’s called Nauzene Kids  Nausea Relief, but the best part is it works and is approved for ages 2 up to adults. I love how quickly it relives nausea and that it is pediatrician recommended.

Like I mentioned before, it works great for mom and dad too to help ease the discomfort from over indulging in food as well as nausea from the “stomach flu.” Kids won’t complain about taking this medicine because it’s grape flavored, gluten and aspirin free.

It’s a very gentle homeopathic formula that doesn’t contain dyes, parabens or artificial flavors. Make taking medicine fun and interesting for your family by turning it into a game or “sneaking” it into their favorite sweet snack food. Lucky for you, you can pick up Nauzene® Kids at CVS, HEB, and many other drug stores nationwide.

I know when the flu hits, it hits us hard and you don’t always have the time or feel well enough to quick run out to the store to pick up medicine, so grab yourself some now!

Don’t forget: “You can get a $3.00 coupon to try Nauzene Kids for your family at NauzeneKids.com” and to check out and enter for your chance to win by leaving a comment with your suggestion that you will be entered in a contest in which 1 lucky reader will win a Nauzene® care package.

As always, like with everything in your medicine cabinet, please make sure to read and follow all label instructions before using.
