Thomas The Tank Engine

September 22, 2015   |   Leave a Comment

Last weekend I was thrilled to take my adorable niece and nephew to see Thomas the Tank Engine™in Boone, Iowa.  It’s been years since I’ve been to this event because my boys are quite a bit older so it was really fun to have little ones again that would enjoy this.

For those of you who have little kids, you know exactly who Thomas the Tank Engine™ is, I can remember my boys spending hours upon hours watching Thomas shows and playing with their little metal trains on their tracks, so to actually get to ride on Thomas and meet Sir Tophamm Hatt was a dream come true for them.

I wanted to share a little about the event so if you have the opportunity to go, you know exactly what to expect!  Check out the details from our day!

Thomas The Tank Engine

Day Out With Thomas™ is a family event that offers aspiring engineers and their families the unique opportunity to take a ride with the classic storybook engine, Thomas the Tank Engine™ at regional heritage railroads across the country.

There’s not only a 25 minute ride with Thomas the Tank Engine™ but so many other activities to fill your day will.  There’s everything from Thomas Tattoo’s to live music for the kids to kid involved in!  Make sure to remember your camera because there are TONS of photo opportunities for kids!

A ticket for Day Out With Thomas includes the train ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, as well as a variety of Thomas & Friends themed entertainment, including Storytelling and Video Viewing, Temporary Tattoos of Island of Sodor friends, and an Imagination Station with Arts & Crafts and more. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Sir Topham Hatt, the Controller of the Railway on the Island of Sodo.

If you’re in the Boone, Iowa area there are three more days of events this weekend!  You can find information HERE or check out THIS website for more events across the nation.
