Travel: Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

November 13, 2017   |   Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Apple Vacations. All opinions are 100% mine.

The days are growing shorter and the temperature is dropping a few degrees each day. Naturally, that means the excitement of the holidays starts to kick in right about now, but as a seasoned veteran of long winters in both Iowa and Minnesota, I am all too aware of what happens after the holidays; the winter blues.

When I consider the long nights with bitterly cold temperatures, I want to counter the chills from cold with chills of excitement. Let me paint a picture for you; the warm breeze blows over you as apply more sunscreen to be safe. Even in the middle of winter, the weather is picture perfect in the Caribbean.

A winter getaway to the Caribbean is not out of the picture, despite the terrible hurricane season that 2017 had to offer. Fortunately, there are areas such as the Dominican Republic that were untouched by the seasonal storms!

Paying a visit to Punta Cana this winter is a good idea in so many ways right now. Taking a break mid-season to savor the sun and the sea is good for the mind, it is great for the body and it is even better for the heart. Taking a Caribbean vacation this year benefits you for sure, but think about this, it is good for the economy in such a special part of the world.

There have been so many misconceptions about the state of winter vacationing in the Caribbean. It is true that there are many seriously damaged areas, but we often don’t take into account how large the Caribbean is; about 1 million square miles! The unaffected areas, like the lovely Punta Cana beaches and resorts, are open and waiting to give you the trip of your dreams!

I know, you might be thinking it is too late to plan an entire trip! All great vacations require time, research and preparations. I have the scoop for who to contact for an unforgettable trip that will be easy to plan and will offer you a sun-kissed reprieve from the winter blues.

Apple Vacations offers all-inclusive trips which cover airfare, hotel, and transportation. The professional and warm staff would be nothing short of pleased to help you the best time while you visit paradise this winter! Don’t count out a trip to a Caribbean dream this year! There is no better way to combat cabin fever than with a trip to the beach! Apple Vacations will have you flying away to paradise fuss-free just in time to escape the winter blues!

If you can’t make a trip to help support the economy of the many islands of the Caribbean, please consider making a donation to the Tourism Cares or Hispanic Federation where 100% of donations are going to affected areas.

As the weather gets colder and the nights get longer, where are you daydreaming about visiting? Have you ever been to Punta Cana? If not, do you think you might be visiting in person, or at least in spirit this winter?
