Valentine Moscato Float

January 25, 2021   |   10 Comments

Valentine’s Day isn’t just for kids to have parties and candy, it’s a time for adults too! It’s a time to spoil your spouse with a nice meal, chocolates and desserts as well as have a delicious adult drink like this Valentine Moscato Float.

Have you ever thought of putting your favorite wine and vanilla ice cream together? Oh, my, yum! It was amazing and I may have had a couple glasses myself when I was making these.

It’s no secret that Mirassou Moscato is my absolute favorite wine, it’s a bubbly sweet white wine that’s perfect for my tastes! I added a couple easy ingredients to my wine and had a festive Valentine Float, so simple and delicious!

I’ve found that Moscato goes really well with pasta and salads but honestly I’ve enjoyed it with just about any and everything.  If you like a sweet wine, this is for you.

Our Valentine’s Dinner is going to be at home with a Shrimp Pasta dish, chocolate brownies and these Moscato Floats.  Sounds like the perfect date night at home!

I don’t make a lot of mixed drinks, I have a good friend who is usually in charge of this area but lately, I have put together a couple simple recipes that have turned out so well.  I think adding a few recipes occasionally will be a fun new addition to The Taylor House.  What types of drink recipes do you look for?  I’d love to try a few more this month!

Just saw this on the Mirassou Facebook page so I had to come over and take a look as their Moscato is my favorite wine! This looks delicious and I will have to try it. And can I just say that I love that you said “Pop”? That makes me homesick for Iowa. Here in Missouri it is called soda, and after many years my husband and I finally gave in and started to call it that as well. Anyway, thanks for sharing your recipe!

Where in Missouri are you? I have always said “pop”. We live in Kansas City.

Gosh, I wish I had the ingredients for this mix right now. Although the weather outside is frightful, this girl would be delighted with a Valentine Moscato float!
