The Taylor House

Iowa Blogger sharing Recipes, DIY and much more

Valentine Tic Tac Toe Tray

January 17, 2013   |   5 Comments

Hey Taylor House fans! I’m Jessica from Prairie Girl to Southern Belle and I’m so excited to be posting on The Taylor House today! I just finished a fun little game tray for the kids and thought I’d share it with you all!

I had this little tray in the guest bathroom for the longest time. I liked it but it was just asking for a new life. I had everything on hand except the bottle caps.  A quick trip to Archiver’s (twist my arm) while we were in Nashville this weekend solved that. Cute paper cut with a 1″ circle punch fits the bottle caps perfectly!

And you know what? Because it’s just washi tape, when you’re ready for something new, just peel it off and you’re ready for the next project! Another reason to love it!

After working with the washi tape, I started using it other places around the house. I love it! I think I’m forming an addiction.  While at Archiver’s, I may have picked up 5 more roles.

Or was it 6?

Well, there you have it! A project that not only looks cute but can give you some time with your kiddos as well.

How about you? Any cute little projects in the works? Thanks for letting me share this one with you!

What a cute idea. We’ve been trying to teach my almost 4 year old how to play tic tac toe. This would be a fun way to help him out. 🙂

My kids have played with it a bunch! My 7 year old has taught my 4 year old! And they love to play it with their friends when they are over. Good luck with your little one!
