Creamed Asparagus with Parmesan Cheese

It’s that time in Iowa where Asparagus is growing wild in the ditches and popping up in gardens which makes it the perfect time to make this Creamed Asparagus with Parmesan Cheese recipe!


Asparagus Heavy Whipping Cream Garlic Salt Parmesan Cheese


Preheat the oven to 350 and lightly grease a baking dish.

Wash and dry the asparagus stalk, we fresh picked ours so they were shorter and had less to cut off.

Place the asparagus in the bottom of the dish. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, garlic salt, and Parmesan cheese.

Pour heavy cream mixture all over the asparagus. Bake until the cheese is browned on top.

This is a great side dish to just about anything grill, chicken breasts, burgers, steaks or whatever!
