How to Make Instant Pot Chicken Stock

Have you ever reached inside the pantry to grab the chicken stock and it wasn’t there? There has been more than one time that I needed to rely on my own self to make chicken stock.

If you’ve never made your own chicken stock from scratch, get excited! I’m about to show you how to make this. You may be surprised as to how easy it really is.


– Chicken – Carrots – Onion – Celery stalk – Parsley – Salt – Pepper – Water


Add a whole chicken to your Instant Pot and place the carrots, onions, celery, and parsley around the chicken.

Fill with water to the maximum fill line.

Lock the lid, turn the steam vent to ‘sealing’ and using the ‘manual’ or ‘pressure cook’ button, adjust it to cook for 25 minutes at high pressure.

When the cooking time is up let the pressure release naturally for about 15-20 minutes, then release the remaining pressure very carefully.
