Oatmeal Banana Muffins

I have always been a lover of oatmeal with the way that it fills me up in the morning as well as the texture and flavor benefits of adding it to some of my favorite recipes.

Oatmeal adds texture and is a great better-for-you option which is why I love to use it when I bake and cook!

Ingredients

McCann’s Quick Cooking Irish Rolled Oats all-purpose flour brown sugar granulated sugar butter eggs bananas Baking soda Baking powder Ground cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350℉. Lightly grease or spray muffin tins.

Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt well in a large bowl.

In a separate bowl whisk together melted butter, eggs, half and half. Combine dry ingredients and wet thoroughly.

Pre Mash bananas then stir into batter, if you don’t like chunks of fruit in your muffin you can puree them in a food processor for a smoother texture, we like big pieces that add to the sweetness.
