When you think of Wyoming, do you think of summer vacations to Yellow Stone National Park? I know I did until I read about all the awesome vacation opportunities that are available in the winter months too!
Wyoming is the perfect destination for winter travel if you’re looking for skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling as well as visiting the most beautiful National Park. The Wyoming Office of Tourism has tons of information you can read all about Wyoming Winter Vacations!
In wintertime, Wyoming’s iconic landscape transforms into an otherworldly setting one might expect to find only in fiction. And winter brings an intimacy to the experience. Snowmobiling Yellowstone feels like the first exploration of an alien planet. Any trouble within the world can be obscured by the spray of a sharp turn of skis or board through a powdered glade. So who better to relate this feeling than a Wyoming native who happens to be the best big mountain snowboarder the world has ever seen: Travis Rice.
About Travis Rice
Much like the landscape itself, no one goes bigger than Travis Rice; his love for his home state is as big as anything he uncorks on the world’s steepest mountains.
And he wants to share that love, whether through a video featuring some of the most majestic footage ever captured with in the state (shot by his own incredible production company, Brain Farm), or by riding his custom-designed Wyoming-themed Lib Tech snowboards (designed by Tim Tomkinson in collaboration with Travis) around Jackson Hole with two lucky winners of a Roam with Rice Sweepstakes.
These are amazing prizes!
Grand Prize: Trip for 2 to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and two Wyoming Travis Rice Lib Tech Edition autographed snowboards.
2nd Prize: 10 winners of one Wyoming Travis Rice Lib Tech Edition autographed snowboard.
This winter when you’re planning your vacations, remember the beautiful and exciting opportunities that Wyoming in the Winter has to offer!
