Delicious Winter Wine Cocktail

December 11, 2017   |   Leave a Comment

The perfect refreshing Winter Wine Cocktail full of cranberry flavor to put you in the holiday spirit!

Delicious Winter Wine Cocktail

As soon as November 1st hits, we’re in full holiday mode. Whether it’s planning our Thanksgiving meal, organizing a cookie bake, decorating the house or hosting countless parties with friends and family, November and December are crazy and busy and I love it. I wouldn’t change a minute of it.

I’m one of those people who look forward to getting my house decorated for Christmas in early November, in fact, we have SIX Christmas trees up in our home because I love decorating.

Around November 10th, when it’s been long enough past Halloween that people won’t laugh that I have my tree up, I grab a winter wine cocktail, turn on my Christmas music and pull out the decorations. I spend a full day just decorating and enjoying my time getting into the Holiday spirit.

Delicious Winter Wine Cocktail

By the end of the day, there are two things that will have happened for sure – my house will look amazing and I will have come up with a new recipe for a holiday cocktail that I can make for friends and family. This year it’s a Winter Wine Cocktail that’s full of flavors like Cranberry and Pineapple. It’s a little bit of summer put into a wintery wine cocktail. Yum!

I always have my favorite wines on hand, and of those Mirassou Moscato is usually the one I go to. If you’ve known me for very long, you know this is my absolute favorite wine out there. It’s a sweet, light and refreshing sip of sunshine in a glass. I’ve created countless cocktails over the years using Mirassou like our Apple Cider Cranberry Sangria  and our Apple Pie Sangria. These are just two of my favorites that I’ve made over the years.

Our Winter Wine Cocktail is very easy to make and I think your guests will love it. Add some cranberries to garnish and give it a true holiday feel!
