Fist, let me share this delicious Maple Brown Sugar Snickerdoodles cookie recipe with you to give you a little inspiration when you go to create your own recipe and enter it in the challenge.

How to make Maple Brown Sugar Snickerdoodles

Ingredients You Need

  •  1 Cup Butter, softened
  • 1 ½ Cup Truvia® Brown Sugar Blend
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 2 ¾ Cups Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Cream of Tartar
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt

For Dipping the Rolled Cookies In

  • 2 Tablespoons Truvia® Baking Blend
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

Instructions

Step 1 - Cream together the sugar and butter

Step 2 - Add the eggs and maple syrup to the sugar mixture and mix well

Step 3 - In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt

Step 4 - Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well

Step 5 - In a small bowl mix together the Truvia Baking Blend and cinnamon

Step 6 - Shape the dough into 1 inch balls and roll in the cinnamon and sugar mixture

Step 7 - Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Enjoy!

 These cookies were so simple to make and my boys loved them as an after school treat!  There was just a hint of maple syrup in the cookie that gave them a really nice fall flavor feel.
