Hey, guys! I am super excited to share a new recipe and website with you today! Over the summer months, I had decided to go ahead and start a “healthier” recipe blog and we came up with Simply Healthy Made. It’s been quite a while but I finally have the first post up to share with you!
My first post is actually a Kids Snack Idea for Applesauce Fruit Leather that I used my Homemade Slow Cooker Applesauce in. Stop over and check out the recipe to see how simple it was to make! Your kids are going to love it!

How to Make Applesauce Fruit Leather
Ingredient You Need
- Applesauce (You can even make my Homemade Applesauce if you’d like!)
- Cookie Sheet
- Parchment Paper
Instructions
Step 1 – Preheat the oven to the lowest temperature that you can, mine was 150 degrees
Step 2 – Place a layer of parchment paper on a cookie sheet
Step 3 – Pour a thin amount of Applesauce over the entire parchment paper
Step 4 – Bake for 3 – 5 hours or until it feels rough and like a Fruit Roll Up to the touch
Step 5 – Using clean scissors, cut 1 inch strips and roll up. To eat, simply peal back the parchment paper and enjoy!
