This delicious blueberry muffins recipe was one that I received from a friend a while ago but hadn’t made until recently. I had a good blogging friend over last week for coffee, if you don’t know Crunchy Frugalista, stop by and check out her site. She’s hilarious and such a great person.
We enjoyed a morning of coffee and some muffins and talked blogging, I was in heaven. There’s not a lot of people that speak my language when it comes to what I do as a job, so when I have time with other bloggers, I’m thrilled.

How to Make Blueberry Muffins
- 3 Cups of Flour
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- 3/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Cup Butter, Softened
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 Cups of Fresh Blueberries
Step 1 – Prehead the oven to 350 degrees and spray your muffin cups with a non-stick spray like Pam
Step 2 – In a large bowl mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt and set aside
Step 3 – In a second bowl whisk the butter then blend in the eggs, milk and vanilla until all ingredients are incorporated
Step 4 – Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well
Step 5 – Fold in the blueberries
Step 6 – Scoop batter into the muffin tin, fill them about 3/4 full. This recipe made 15 muffins for me.
Step 7 – Bake for 25 minutes or until a knife comes out clean when you insert
Step 8 – Remove the muffins from the pan, use butter and enjoy.
These muffins are a little bit more dense but they are still delicious with butter when they’re warm.
Don’t these look like beautiful muffins? They really were delicious warm, right out of the oven with some melty butter. I actually ended up having them for lunch too.
I think this basic muffin recipe would work well with other berries if you want to trade out the blueberries. I think they would be yummy with raspberries too!
