Delicious Classic Green Bean Casserole recipe is perfect for Thanksgiving dinner, if you’re like me this will take you back to your childhood and remind you of the smells coming from your Mother’s kitchen on Thanksgiving morning as she prepares a huge meal to feed the family. This is one of my favorites along with our Sweet Potatoe Casserole that’s to die for!
How to Make Classic Green Bean Casserole
- 2 Cans Green Beans, cut
- 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1/2 Cup Mushrooms, Sliced
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- Salt & Pepper
- French Fried Onions
- Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Next, mix together the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms and milk in a large bowl. I like to add in about 1/2 cup of French Fried Onions as well. Spread the green bean mixture into a 9 x 9-inch baking dish. Top with the remainder of the French Fried Onions and bake for 25 minutes.
