Cooking With Kids: Hash brown Egg Cups

April 16, 2014   |   4 Comments

Cooking with kids is an awesome way to spend time with your little people while making some delicious food.  I have one boy that loves helping me in the kitchen and does a fabulous job preparing meals but then the older one wants nothing to do with it and he really never has.  It’s just not his thing.

Last night my little guy and I made some Hash brown Egg Cups with cheese for supper and he did all of it himself, it was really just cracking eggs and mixing but he got to say he made them alone.  I love it!  That means his crazy blogger Mom got to stand by and take some action photos of him!

Just wondering what kind of cheese you use to make these? Thanks

These look so yummy and easy! What do you think about making ahead and freezing them? Not sure if it would be better to freeze them uncooked or precooked. Any thoughts?

I would precook them before freezing so that it would be as easy as heating them up in the morning compared to the time it would take to cook them for breakfast.

      Thanks for stopping by!
