Easy Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes
We have another simple and delicious slow cooker recipe to share with you today, this recipe was given to me by my great Aunt a couple years ago and have been a regular on our menu every since.
These Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes are one of our favorite our favorite recipes, they are a sweeter version of Sloppy Joes. They are delicious!
If you're planning a Super Bowl party or any type of party these are so easy to stick in the slow cooker and have ready whenever your guests get hungry as well as making them for a weeknight meal. I hope you'll give them a try!

How to make Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes
Ingredients
- 2 Pounds Ground Beet
- 1 Medium Onion, chopped
- 1 Green Pepper, chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 Cups Ketchup
- 1 Cup BBQ Sauce
- ½ Cup Packed Brown Sugar
- ¼ Cup Cider Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Mustard

Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook beef, onion, pepper and garlic over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the ketchup, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, and mustard.
- Place the mixture in the slow cooker on low until you are ready to eat.
- Serve about ½ cup meat mixture on each bun.

You could use mini buns for these if you're having small finger foods at a party, they are a little messy so be sure to provide sturdy plates. I don't put anything on mine, I think they have great flavor but my boys put ketchup on theirs and a little mustard.
We usually have chips, fries or a side salad when we have this as a meal but just about anything goes with them well.
