Garlic Butter Zoodles

October 21, 2020   |   Leave a Comment

If I could explain to you how good zoodles are, you’d probably never eat noodles again. I started eating zoodles whenever I changed to a lower-carb diet. However, I needed to add my final touches to them, which results in Garlic Butter Zoodles. You have never had better zoodles than this!

Garlic Butter Zoodles

You can literally eat zoodles with anything. You can replace them in your pasta dishes or even eat them with soup! I don’t think there is a recipe that you can not eat zoodles with. The Garlic Butter Zoodles gives the recipe a whole lot more flavor and you won’t believe how yummy they are! Your body needs more veggies, so even if you have to trick it into eating more veggies, that’s what you need to do!

Ingredients for Zoodles

After you decide to make these zoodles, you may be wondering what ingredients are used in them. Let’s talk about the ingredients that go into this recipe!

Zucchini – You cannot have zoodles without zucchini. Although, you can use squash which also works as a delicious alternative. You can peel these to start making your zoodles.

Butter – You will need butter for these butter zoodles. And yes, this is what gives the zoodles their flavor!

Garlic powder – You are going to be so glad that you used garlic in this recipe. You can use fresh garlic, but garlic powder also works.

Salt and pepper – Whatever you do, don’t forget the salt and pepper. You’ll need those two spices for this recipe.

As you can see, the ingredient list is short, but it’s also super delicious, which is wonderful. I think you’ll find this recipe super simple!

How to Make Garlic Butter Zoodles

I promise you that making this recipe is so simple, you’ll wonder why you never did it before. I get so excited to make simple recipes like this. Don’t forget that you can enjoy these zoodles as a side or even as the main dish. If you’re just trying to eat a little healthier and get more veggies, then this recipe is for you!

Garlic Butter Zucchini Noodles

Grab yourself a spiral cutter first, invest in one that has a guard. The little handheld versions are inexpensive but you are either gonna waste ⅓ of your veggie or cut off your fingertip…trust me.

Use your spiralizer to cut all your squash into noodles by just turning it on the blade.

Next add butter, zucchini, garlic powder, salt and pepper to a large pan over medium heat and saute until noodles begin to soften. Stir often to distribute your butter and seasonings over the noodles. Continue cooking until they have reached your desired tenderness.

Transfer zoodles to a strainer and press with a wooden spoon to remove most of the excess water.

Serve with a sprinkling of fresh parmesan or feta cheese on top to finish it off, just a sprinkle is a great contrast to the flavor of the veggies.
